A Kind Word & A Good Outfit

Never underestimate the power of a kind word. After driving all over the tri-parish area in the city of N.O. and ready to jump off the Wisner Overpass my frame of mind was completely altered by random unsolicited compliments… Bless you Mike at Harrison Ave District Donuts for telling me I’m “killing it in those hoop earrings” and  to the beautiful checkout lady in the express lane at Broad Street Whole Foods who stated “why you just look cute every day?” You brightened my week. You may park in my driveway at Jazz Fest. Thank you.
