Welcome to another one of ALG Style’s busiest and favorite weeks of the year- it’s The Legacy Donor Foundation Luncheon and Fashion Show! For those not familiar, The Legacy Donor Foundation is a non-profit that increases awareness and promotes individuals to become organ donors. When The Legacy Donor Foundation began in 1999 Louisiana only had 450,000 registered organ donors. Today that registry of Organ Donors has grown to over 2.5 million!
The Legacy Donor Foundation is doing truly amazing things and we love being able to contribute in our own special way. That’s why this Friday (sorry it’s sold out already) we will be helping the Legacy Donor Foundation put on their annual luncheon and fashion show. The fashion show features individuals that have received or donated an organ and features clothing generously donated by local area boutiques as well as hair and makeup gracefully done by local salons.
On top of the wonderful event and local stores, ALG Style and The Legacy Donor Foundation were featured on the WWLTV morning broadcast with the lovely Sheba Turk (check out the full clip below)!
